Les Sables d’Olonne
There is no need to introduce the town which has become the home of the Vendée Globe. This famous non-stop round-the-world sailing race sees skilled sailors braving the dangers of the ocean and constantly pushing back human limits. This event has greatly contributed to the reputation of Les Sables d’Olonne, but long before this race existed, the incredible charms of this seaside resort were appreciated by many.
